What's VEX?
VEX is an international robotics organization that supplies tools, both physical and virtual, that students use to program and create robots. The Vex Robotics Competition (VRC) is the largest robotics competition in the world, with more than a million students involved in more than 60 different countries. VRC is designed for students in grades 6 - 12. For elementary school students, Vex offers the VEX IQ program that operates similarly to its older brother.
Each year, there's a new game in which students have to design, build, and program their robot to do the task at hand. Each game is unique, students have to think outside of the box (or arena) in order to build their winning design. This year's game is called High Stakes.
