Hi! My name is James, I'm 19 and currently studying Engineering at the University of Calgary. I have competed in VEX Robotics for 4 years and was previously on Team 210T Titan. Happy to help everyone in anyway they might need.

Gauthier Appaix

My name is Gauthier Appaix, and I’m currently studying Software Engineering with a minor in Mechatronics at the University of Calgary. I founded and competed on Team 7K in high school and later created and competed with the VEXU team SVNK. During my two years competing in high school, I won third place at the VEX Skills World Championships and later became the VEX Skills World Champion.

I believe robotics is one of the best ways for students to learn engineering through hands-on experience, and I’m excited to help others develop their knowledge and passion for physical problem-solving.

Jason Xiao

My name is Jason Xiao and I am currently an Engineering Student at the University Of Calgary. In my free time, I enjoy playing games and riding my bike.
 

I have previously won a tournament - FFCA & Western Mechatronics Spin Up December Duel - on the WestMech Black Team 210S during the season Spin Up.

I’m a FIRST robotics alumni, I competed in FRC and FTC and took home many awards like the rookie all star award at the FRC Idaho regional and the FTC design and innovative award as wells as the first place inspire award. I’m looking forward to share my robotics experience and knowledge with the team members as well as getting to know the VEX robotics game.

I competed in VEX for 4 years, coached IQ for 2, and even now, loving what I do every day. I'm passionate about robotics and teaching others. My primary team roles are as a builder and a designer.
